← Europe Travel FAQ

Quick answer

How many days do I need for an Asia trip?

Two weeks allows one country or region; three weeks lets you combine two (e.g., Thailand and Vietnam); longer trips better accommodate jet lag and deep regional exploration.

A single country like Thailand works well in 10–14 days. For multiple countries, at least 3–4 nights per base keeps travel time from consuming your trip. East Asia (Japan) needs more time per destination due to slower pace and higher transport costs.

Account for jet lag, especially on the first 2–3 days. A two-week Asia trip might feel rushed after jet lag recovery—three weeks gives more usable time.
