1. About this policy
This policy explains how FarSerene uses cookies and browser storage on farserene.com. Cookies are small text files stored by your browser; local storage can remember information without a cookie. Fonts and other site files are served from farserene.com itself, so loading a page makes no request to a third party.
2. Your choices
Necessary technologies operate to provide and secure the service. Optional technologies run only after you agree to them. Use to review or withdraw your choices. Rejecting optional processing does not prevent use of FarSerene — the site remains fully functional.

4. Strictly necessary technologies
The session cookie is secure, HTTP-only, and unavailable to page scripts. It represents a random identifier, not your email. FarSerene's own consent banner stores your choice in fs_consent_v2 in your browser and passes it to Google through Google Consent Mode. Blocking necessary technologies may prevent sign-in, saved-trip access, usage-limit enforcement, or preference storage.
5. Analytics and advertising
Analytics: Optional. When you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), which sets the _ga cookies listed above, to understand how FarSerene is used and improve it. Google's analytics script is not loaded until you accept analytics, so nothing is sent to Google before you choose. If you decline, or never answer the banner, the script is never fetched and no analytics cookies are set. If you later withdraw consent, Google Analytics stops using its cookies immediately and is not loaded on any later page; you can delete existing _ga cookies in your browser settings. Advertising: Currently not active. Future advertising will be optional and personalization will honor your consent choices.
6. Third-party and affiliate links
A booking or travel provider may set its own cookies after you leave FarSerene. Its notices govern them. Recording an affiliate-link selection in FarSerene's database does not itself place an advertising cookie in your browser.
7. Browser controls, changes, and contact
You can block or delete cookies in browser settings. Deleting site data removes your stored choices and causes the banner to reappear. We will update this inventory when technologies change and seek consent for new optional categories where required. Contact privacy@farserene.com.
