Quick answer

What is a good 10-day Europe itinerary for couples?

A two- or three-base route with contrasting settings—such as a major city, a smaller food or culture base, and a restful final stop—usually balances shared experiences and unstructured time.

Lisbon–Porto, Paris–Lyon–Annecy, or Rome–Florence with a countryside stay are examples of coherent shapes, not universal prescriptions. Choose the route around the couple’s shared priorities and preferred pace.

Keep at least one unscheduled half-day in each major base. A romantic itinerary is rarely improved by turning every meal, viewpoint, and transfer into an appointment.
