Begin with one anchor experience, then add cities or regions that connect naturally. A good two-week route usually has three or four bases, not seven. Check stations and airports on a map and measure hotel-to-hotel time rather than scheduled journey time alone.
Use an open-jaw arrival and departure when it removes backtracking. Add a recovery buffer before a long-haul flight, especially when the final connection is separate or weather-sensitive.
