Accessibility Checks Before Booking

Accessibility planning is a chain of handoffs. Check the airport, station, vehicle, accommodation, attraction, and route surface separately, then confirm the details directly with each provider.

Describe the actual requirement

Replace broad labels with specifics: steps, lift access, door widths, bathroom layout, seating, assistance, or time needed between platforms. Providers can answer a concrete question more reliably.

Check every transfer

An accessible hotel does not make every route accessible. Review terminal changes, station access, local vehicles, and the final walk to each important place.

Keep written confirmation

Save responses and assistance arrangements with the itinerary. Add buffer time and a fallback where a missed handoff would create a serious problem.
